We ask all of our new patients to complete their new patient paperwork as completely as they can. This paperwork includes questions about your health history and gives us an understanding of past trauma and injuries that might be contributing to your current health concerns.
Once your paperwork is complete and Dr. Jordan has reviewed it, we will have a one-on-one consultation. We will discuss your current health issues, past health concerns, health goals, and any other health concerns that you have.
After the consultation, we will assess your spine and nervous system. We use surface electromyography (sEMG) to measure the activity of the spinal muscles as they contract to support the spine against the pull of gravity. sEMG is designed to detect where nerve interference is occurring and where energy is being wasted.
Once we have completed your assessment and spinal examination, Dr. Jordan will create a plan of care for you that will be tailored specifically to your individual needs. This takes time to complete, so this concludes Day 1. Typically an adjustment does not take place on the first day.
Day 2
Report of Findings
On your follow-up visit, Dr. Jordan will sit down with you and present to you a detailed report of our findings. We will discuss the plan Dr. Jordan created for corrective care as well as payment options to make care most affordable moving forward.
The Road to Health
When you start care with Hearth Chiropractic, the process of healing is a two-way street navigated by both you and Dr. Jordan. In order to experience optimal healthcare improvements, you will need to commit to your appointments and to taking all necessary steps and lifestyle changes recommended by Dr. Jordan.
REMEMBER
Patience is essential! While some see improvements right away, for others it take more time. Please understand that symptoms don’t arise in a day and healing doesn’t occur in a day. For the best results, follow the plan that Dr. Jordan specifically recommends for you. Everyone is different, but time and repetition is always the key.
